Our First Place Winners at Empire
2008
The fall of 2008 was exciting. Zachary was quite
active in the youth programs at the Empire Show. We had fun with
friends and family getting Lillie Jud ready for the costume class.
This was Zachary's first year competing in the costume class and
as a family we decided on the Pirates of the Caribbean. Zachary
was Davey Jones and Lillie was Jack Sparrow. Zachary took a first.
We
are still waiting for summer to come. It is July and only 70 degrees.
We look forward to the new crias this fall. Hopefully they will
arrive before Alpaca Farm Days. Our yearlings are ready for the
summer Alpaca Breeder of WNY show in the coming weeks (July 10,
11 and 12, 2009).
We
have some upcoming Herdsires ready to be used. Simba Alero and The
Chose One, co-owned with Cinco "C"'s Alpaca Farm. Simba
Alero placed at the NE Alpaca Show in Syracuse this spring. The
Chose took a ribbon in the World Show. He has amazing fleece and
great comfirmation. We will be showing him a the Herdsire Show case
this summer at the Alpaca Breeders of WNY Show in July. Now's the
time to set up your fall breedings.
It was nice to have the World Show so close to home. We came home
with ribbons from Jasmine and The Chose. I was told it was a competitive
Fleece show.
Our family is committed to producing quality animals with a family
touch. Our breeding program consist of full Peruvian white huacaya
